I get told routinely that I do (at least 1-2 times a month, which seems like a lot).
The other day at work, some "Shaggy" (off of Scooby Doo, not the rapper) inspired teenager was talking about "do-ability" at work. He was talking loudly enough that the other servers heard him. Apparently he said the only waitress there that was "do-able" was the one who looked like Sarah Jessica Parker...
For one... he was with adults... who talks like that to their parents (presumably, it was Father's Day)?!
For two, I hate the word "doable." How rude.
Ugh.
I used tho think it was just our big noses and curly frizzy hair that made people say that. But when I brought it up the other girls were like... "yeah, and your eyes... and the shape of your face, and lips..."
What do you think?

One of the guys at work said he used to call me "the girl who looks like Sarah Jessica Parker, but without the big nose."
Another customer told me I didn't have as big of a nose as her, but I think I do. I don't think she's beautiful... but she's growing on me. I suppose.
It's better than looking like Carrot Top:

I've never thought about it... But I guess you do a little!
ReplyDeleteOk, maybe I am a bit biased, but NO. You are beautiful and talanted, Sarah Jessica Parker is--not. That is all I have to say about that! OH! You should have slapped that pimply faced idiot for talking about you that way! Ugh.
