Spring is at my house!

Over the past several days, I've found myself drawn to these beautiful tulips in my yard. I couldn't stop taking photos of them. Have I mentioned that I love spring?

Gary and I took Vin fishing last week.

We put the fish back.

At first, he was sitting away from the lake.

But he just kept getting closer, until his feet were in the water.

My mama's dog tagged along. Well, one of them.

Great News!

Hello again! I've been so incredibly busy, and tired. Of course I've been trying to enjoy this beautiful weather. So, sorry for the hiatus.

Anyway, I've got some wonderful news! One of my best friends recently gave birth to her second child, cough, last Sunday, March 25. He wasn't expected for another month, so he didn't have a name!

I receive a text message: "Baby no name is here." It included a photo. Gary, Vincent and I visited baby no name that day.

Vin didn't really want to hold the baby.

Anyway, he ended up getting a name two days later... and it sure is cute!

Little Benjamin was nice and healthy, despite being a tad early. He weighed 7 something pounds even!

I didn't get any pics with Mama, mostly because she looked tired- but also because we wouldn't put down the baby and when we were leaving another friend stopped in.

What a lucky Mama!

Loud Neighbors!

As soon as it's dusk, these loud neighbors come out and party all night.

The other night I grabbed my camera and captured a few shots of them.

It was dark. The only way I could see these guys was by the flash on my camera.

I probably looked like a creeper out there, all crouched low to the ground taking photos of God-knows-what.

Anyway, despite their loudness- I think I like the new neighbors. I'm not sure what my other neighbors think of them...

If I had to guess, I'd say they hate us. :S

More Spring!

We set a record high temperature in the St. Louis area yesterday! I hope everyone is enjoying spring!

Saw this cute pup at the gas station the other day. I'm not sure this is the safest thing ever, but isn't he cute?

Beautiful Weather!

If you're in Missouri, the weather has been pretty nice! Vincent and I had a little more than an hour before we had to go to the dentist the other day, so we ran to the grocery story and grabbed some bread for our lake's resident ducks and geese. It was so much fun, even though it was a tad bit windy.
